What does the Boost Logic Triple X Midpipe for F152M Ferrari 812 change?

The Triple X Midpipe for F152M uses a crossover design that Boost Logic credits with improved exhaust scavenging and a more exotic, high-frequency tone from the V12. It also adds volume and removes weight compared with the factory components, so the change is felt in the sound and the character of the car rather than in a published power figure.

Can the mid pipe be fitted on its own?

Yes. Boost Logic designs the Triple X mid pipe to work as a standalone upgrade with the factory downpipes and rear section, or combined with the Boost Logic titanium downpipes and valved axle back. Many owners start here because it is the least expensive part of the Boost Logic 812 exhaust range.

What is it made from?

Boost Logic builds the mid pipe from titanium, chosen for its low weight, strength and resistance to heat. The weight saving comes from using titanium in place of the heavier factory material. Boost Logic does not publish a measured weight or tube diameter for the part.

Is it a bolt-on installation?

Yes. Boost Logic lists the Triple X mid pipe as a direct bolt-on part for the 812 Superfast, so no cutting or welding of the car is described. The mid pipe sits under the car between the downpipes and the rear section, and installation on a lift by an experienced shop is the practical route.

How much louder is the 812 with the Triple X mid pipe?

Boost Logic describes increased volume and a more exotic, high-frequency V12 tone, but it does not publish decibel figures. The final result depends on the rest of the exhaust, and pairing the mid pipe with the Boost Logic valved axle back adds the choice between a refined and an aggressive mode.

Description

Boost Logic Titanium Triple X Midpipe for F152M Ferrari 812 Superfast

Boost Logic’s Triple X Midpipe for F152M Ferrari 812 Superfast uses its signature Triple X crossover design to improve exhaust scavenging and give the naturally aspirated V12 a more exotic, high-frequency tone. It is made from lightweight titanium, which takes weight out of the exhaust while keeping the strength and heat resistance a mid pipe needs, and it is a direct bolt-on. It can go on as a standalone upgrade with the factory sections either side, or join the Boost Logic downpipes and valved axle back as part of a complete titanium system. At this price it is the least expensive way to change the character of the 812.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
