Forged Line

• The range of BBS forged wheels comes from a complex multi-stage Die-Forging process, involving either 6000 series aluminum or a specialized magnesium alloy. Capable of applying up to 18 million pounds of pressure, this process is finely tuned at every stage of production to yield some of the most exemplary forged wheels available. The forged wheels from BBS are recognized not just for their lightweight characteristics but also for their superior stiffness-to-weight ratio, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to safety and durability.

About BBS

In the early 1970s, two German racers from Schiltach in the Black Forest region – Heinrich Baumgartner and Klaus Brand – founded BBS. In order to give themselves a performance advantage on the track, they began creating lightweight fiberglass body panels. To help further lower unsprung weight, they also developed an innovative three-part racing wheel which quickly gained attention from professional teams such as BMW Motorsports; this spurred growth for their company. 1983 saw them launch their signature 3 piece ‘RS’ design: it is still one of leading wheels within its industry today .
