AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust w/ Chrome Silver Tips for VA Subaru WRX

The AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust with Chrome Silver Tips is a direct bolt-on cat-back system for the VA Subaru WRX, designed, engineered, and manufactured in-house at AWE in the USA. It’s handcrafted from 3″ CNC mandrel-bent .065″-wall T304L stainless steel sourced in the US, runs a clean straight-through design for maximum flow, and delivers gains of up to 8hp and 4ft-lbs of torque at the wheels. The system comes with 102mm quad tips in Chrome Silver and ships with AWE’s Perfect Fitment Guarantee as standard. If the sound ever needs adjusting in either direction, AWE’s Conversion Kit makes switching between Touring and Track Editions straightforward without replacing the whole system.

• The Touring Edition runs a direct bolt-on, full 3″ straight-through design with a resonated mid section and tailored rear mufflers, striking a balance between a livelier exhaust note and a composed, drone-free cabin experience. If the goal is to add character to the daily drive without sacrificing civility, this is the version to go with.

What is 180 Technology?

• AWE Tuning’s patented 180 Technology® works by routing exhaust gases into a resonator built with precisely placed ports and reflection chambers. Sound waves travel through those chambers, bounce off the walls, and AWE’s acoustic engineers control the size and placement of each port and chamber to determine exactly when the reflected waves exit. That timing causes them to re-enter the main exhaust flow 180 degrees out of phase, canceling the unwanted frequencies at the source. Rather than applying a single universal solution, AWE engineers each 180 Technology® resonator to the specific acoustic profile of the vehicle it’s built for, delivering a clean, consistent tone across every application.
