It retains full factory valve integration, responding to Drive Select, throttle input, and engine speed to stay quiet when you need it and open up with an aggressive tone when you don’t. The clean straight-through design keeps airflow unrestricted for maximum performance, and the system bolts on directly for a factory-like install, finishing with diamond black tips.

• The AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for the Golf R is built from 3″ and 2.5″ U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel with smooth bends and tight packaging, retaining full factory valve integration and responding to the ECU’s commands through Drive Select, throttle input, and engine speed. It stays composed and quiet when the situation calls for it, then opens up with an aggressive tone and signature AWE character when you push it. In Dynamic mode, expect crackles, presence, and everything that makes the Golf R worth driving.
