AWE S-FLO Open Carbon Intake System for 8V / 8Y Audi RS 3 & MK3 TT RS

The AWE S-FLO Open Carbon Intake System for the 8V/8Y Audi RS 3 and MK3 TT RS replaces the factory airbox with a freer-breathing design built around a large-diameter carbon fiber inlet and a high-flow filter. By opening up the intake path and reducing restriction ahead of the turbocharger, it allows the 2.5L five-cylinder to pull in air more efficiently, which can help support power gains when paired with proper tuning while also sharpening throttle response. The open layout exposes more of the turbo induction sound, giving a clearer sense of spool and airflow without resorting to artificial sound enhancement. Fitment is designed to integrate cleanly with the stock mounting points and surrounding components, and the use of carbon fiber isn’t just aesthetic. It helps limit heat soak compared to metal alternatives, maintaining more consistent intake temperatures during spirited driving.

• A 4.5” diameter set-up from S-FLO Filter to turbo inlet coupler can result in an improvement of 7 horsepower and 3 foot-pounds of torque at the wheels. With it, turbo induction and diverter valve sounds will be amplified with each surge of boost.

Upgrade Path

• The S-FLO Carbon Intake Suite offers versatility with its modularity that allows you to start small or go all-in from the get-go. You can choose to start with the S-FLO Inlet Tube or S-FLO Shortie Carbon Intake and gradually move up to the complete S-FLO Carbon Intake Systems (open or closed). Alternatively, you can choose to take the plunge and opt for the all-encompassing S-FLO Closed Carbon Intake System. The choice is yours!
