Which cars does this spoiler delete for C7 Chevrolet fit?

This spoiler delete for C7 Chevrolet fits the 2014-2019 C7 Corvette Stingray and the 2015-2019 C7 Corvette Z06, as listed on the page. Confirm your model and model year with us before ordering.

Does it fit the Grand Sport, the ZR1 or the convertible?

The page lists the C7 Stingray and Z06 only and does not name the Grand Sport or the ZR1. It also does not say whether the convertible is covered, so confirm with us before ordering if your car is one of those.

Does this replace the factory spoiler?

Yes. The spoiler delete takes the place of the C7's factory rear deck spoiler, leaving a smooth carbon panel that follows the rear deck. The factory spoiler is removed for installation.

Do I need a rear wing with it?

No. It can run on its own for a cleaner look, but its main job is to give a rear wing cleaner air. APR pairs it with its GTC-500 wing for the C7, and the wing is sold separately.

Is mounting hardware included, and how should the finish be cared for?

Yes. APR includes the screws, nuts and bolts needed to install the panel. The UV-resistant clear coat lasts best when it is polished and then protected with a good wax or synthetic sealant, like the car's paint.

How long does delivery take?

The spoiler delete is made to order or special order from the manufacturer, so it is not typically in stock. After you order, we confirm the estimated lead time and other order details. Talk to us first if you have a specific deadline.

Description

APR Performance Carbon Rear Spoiler Delete for C7 Chevrolet Corvette

The spoiler delete for C7 Chevrolet Corvette from APR Performance replaces the factory rear deck spoiler with a clean carbon fiber panel that follows the lines of the C7’s rear deck. With the stock spoiler gone, air leaves the back of the car with less turbulence, and a rear wing mounted above it sees cleaner, steadier airflow. That is why APR pairs this panel with its GTC-500 wing for the C7, and why it is a common first step for owners building a track-focused rear aero setup. The panel is made from pre-preg carbon fiber, finished in a UV-resistant clear coat, and ships with the screws, nuts, and bolts needed to install it.

Cleaner Air for a Rear Wing

The factory rear deck spoiler disturbs the air flowing off the back of the C7, and that disturbed air is exactly what a rear wing has to work with. Replacing it with a low, smooth carbon panel reduces rear-end turbulence, so a wing like the APR GTC-500 for the C7 Stingray with spoiler delete or the 74 inch wing for C7 Chevrolet with spoiler delete can make its downforce more efficiently.

Factory-Like Fitment

APR designed the spoiler delete specifically for the C7, matching the contours of the rear deck so the panel sits flush and looks like it belongs on the car. It installs in place of the factory spoiler using the included hardware, giving the rear of the Corvette a cleaner profile whether or not a wing is added.

Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction

The panel is formed in an autoclave at high temperature using pre-preg carbon fiber, which gives it high strength at a low weight. A UV-resistant clear coat protects the finish from sun and weather; like the car’s paint, it holds up best when polished and protected with a quality wax or synthetic sealant.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
