The APR GTC-500 74 inch C7 wing is the full-width version of APR’s GTC-500 for the C7 Corvette coupe, and this package includes APR’s carbon rear spoiler delete. The spoiler delete takes the place of the factory rear deck spoiler so the wing above it works with cleaner, less turbulent air, and the 74″ airfoil spreads that downforce across nearly the full width of the car. The angle of attack adjusts from 0 to 15 degrees, letting the same wing run flat for top speed or steep for grip in tight corners and hard braking. It is a trunk-mount wing built for owners who want serious rear downforce for track days and time attack without moving to a full chassis-mount setup.

APR developed the GTC-500 profile in computational fluid dynamics, using a cambered shape that builds a strong pressure difference across the wing while keeping airflow attached at speed. It reaches an 8.88 to 1 downforce-to-drag ratio, and at 74″ (1880mm) across with a chord that varies from 10.2″ to 12″, this is the largest span APR offers for the C7 GTC-500.

Spoiler Delete Included

The factory C7 rear deck spoiler sits right in front of where the wing mounts, disturbing the air the wing depends on. The APR GTC-500 74 inch C7 wing package swaps it for APR’s carbon spoiler delete, a smooth panel shaped to the rear deck, so the GTC-500 sees steadier airflow and the rear of the car keeps a clean, finished look.

Adjustable Risers and Carbon Construction

The wing sits on angle-adjustable risers machined from 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum, which also allow the height and position to be fine-tuned to the car’s setup. The airfoil itself is pre-preg woven carbon fiber, cured in an autoclave inside aluminum billet molds, so it holds its shape under heavy aero load instead of flexing at speed.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
