• The GT Series wings feature a brand-new, aerodynamic 2D airfoil shape designed to minimize drag. The unique “2D” design ensures a consistent level of downforce across the entire span of the wing. To validate its aerodynamic performance, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis was conducted on this wing.
• Each airfoil in the GT Series is constructed using lightweight and durable carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials. These airfoils incorporate pre-pregnated woven carbon fiber sheets, which provide exceptional strength while keeping the weight low. The manufacturing process for all CFRP airfoils involves utilizing pre-pregnated composite techniques, such as high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging, in high-quality aluminum billet molds to achieve optimal quality.
• The stainless–steel fasteners included with the product make it easy to adjust the location of the side plates.
• The 10mm airfoils are supported by “aircraft grade“ 6061 billet aluminum pedestals, which are coated with a flat black powder finish.
