APR Performance Carbon Rear Diffuser Ver. II for C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray / Z06 / ZR1 / Grand Sport (without under-tray)

The APR C7 rear diffuser Ver. II is the current version of APR’s carbon diffuser for the C7 Corvette, and it fits the Stingray, Z06, ZR1, and Grand Sport. As a car moves forward, it leaves a pocket of low-pressure air behind the rear bumper; the diffuser gives the fast-moving air coming out from underneath the car a smoother path into that pocket, which settles the rear end at speed and lets a rear wing work with cleaner air. This version is sold without the under-tray panel, for owners who want the diffuser on its own or plan to add APR’s under-tray later.

Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction

APR builds the Ver. II diffuser from pre-preg carbon fiber in a 2×2 twill weave, cured in an autoclave under heat and pressure instead of laid up wet. That process gives the panel a high strength-to-weight ratio, so it keeps its shape under airflow at speed without adding meaningful weight to the back of the car. A UV-resistant clear coat protects the weave from fading and yellowing on a car that spends time in the sun.

Smoother Underbody Airflow

Air moving under the C7 exits the back of the car much faster than the air sitting behind the bumper. Without a diffuser, that transition turns messy and turbulent; the APR diffuser channels it into the low-pressure zone more gradually, which cuts rear lift and helps other aero parts, such as a rear wing, perform the way they were designed to.

The Current C7 Diffuser from APR

Ver. II takes over from APR’s original C7 diffuser (AB-277019), which APR no longer produces. Owners who want the complete setup can choose the Ver. II diffuser with under-tray, or start with this version and add the under-tray as a separate part down the road.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this fit the Stingray, or only the Z06? It fits both. APR lists fitment for the C7 Stingray, Z06, ZR1, and Grand Sport, so one part covers every C7 trim from 2014 to 2019.
What is the difference between the with and without under-tray versions? This version is the diffuser on its own. The with under-tray version (AB-277030) adds APR’s carbon under-tray panel, and the under-tray can also be bought separately later if the car starts with this one.
Is this replacing the original APR C7 diffuser? Yes. APR no longer produces the original C7 diffuser (AB-277019), and Ver. II is the version APR currently builds for the C7.
Is this real carbon fiber? Yes. It is pre-preg carbon fiber in a 2×2 twill weave, cured in an autoclave and finished in a UV-resistant clear coat, not a carbon-look overlay or wet-layup part.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
