The APR C7 diffuser with under-tray is the complete version of APR’s Ver. II rear diffuser for the C7 Corvette, combining the carbon diffuser with APR’s matching carbon under-tray panel, and it fits the Stingray, Z06, ZR1, and Grand Sport. Behind any moving car sits a pocket of low-pressure air; the diffuser and under-tray work as one piece to feed the fast air coming out from under the C7 into that pocket more gradually, cutting rear lift and giving a rear wing cleaner air to work with. Buying the pair together means one order, one install, and parts that were designed to line up with each other.

Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction

Both the diffuser and the under-tray are made from pre-preg carbon fiber in a 2×2 twill weave, cured in an autoclave under heat and pressure rather than laid up wet. The result is a stiff, light panel set that holds its shape under load at speed, finished in a UV-resistant clear coat that keeps the weave from fading or yellowing over time.

Diffuser and Under-Tray Working Together

The under-tray extends the carbon surface under the back of the car, so airflow has a longer, smoother run before it reaches the diffuser. That extra length helps keep the air attached and moving cleanly as it expands into the low-pressure zone behind the bumper, which is where most of the rear-end stability gain comes from.

The Current C7 Diffuser from APR

This Ver. II kit takes over from APR’s original C7 diffuser with under-tray (AB-277020), which APR no longer produces. For owners who only want the diffuser, the Ver. II diffuser without under-tray is also available.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
