This advanced lightweight titanium system features hand-crafted carbon-fiber tailpipes that make it 35% lighter than stock. Its in-house cast collectors give it a distinct sound. Along with this is the specially designed Akrapovič control set. This results in a comfortable yet sporty sound quality that changes as the M3 / M4 is driven. To further enhance this, an octagonal shape has been created from titanium and carbon-fiber. As an alternate, there is an option of the classic cylindrical design.

• This exhaust system’s one-of-a-kind craftsmanship and artistry is highlighted by its two handcrafted carbon-fiber tailpipes, which elegantly offset the titanium pipes. The sonic experience completes the package by perfectly accentuating the car’s performance and engineered to produce a unique sound and the renowned Akrapovič acoustic signature.

Specifications

• When tested on the Akrapovič dyno, a BMW M4 Competition with a standard stock exhaust showed an 8.0 kW (10.9 hp) increase in power at 6,000 rpm and a 13.9 Nm gain in torque at 5,000 rpm, without requiring any remapping. This configuration is compatible with both cars equipped with an OPF filter and those without, though the ECE certificate is only valid for those with an OPF filter.

• The Akrapovič Sound Kit is available as an optional add-on, and for additional visual appeal a hand-crafted carbon-fiber rear diffuser can also be purchased to complement the Akrapovič tailpipes.
• This exhaust system is also offered with Round Carbon Tips
  • ECE Type Approval for the Titanium Slip-On Line is no longer valid if the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is installed

• The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with an Otto / gasoline particulate filter
