This high-tech titanium system comes with custom-made carbon-fiber tailpipes, making it 35% lighter than stock. Its cast collectors produce a special sound, while the incorporated Akrapovič control set gives off both a sporty and comfortable sound that changes as the M3 / M4 is driven. Furthermore, an octagonal shape made of titanium and carbon-fiber is available, and customers can also choose the cylindrical design.

• The exquisite knack for creation and aesthetics of this exhaust system is amplified by its two handcrafted carbon-fiber tailpipes that contrast gracefully with the titanium pipes. The sound produced amplifies the car’s performance and has been carefully engineered to create an individualized sound while owning the much-coveted Akrapovič acoustic signature.

Specifications

• Upon being put on the Akrapovič dyno, a stock BMW M4 Competition with a stock exhaust demonstrated a 8.0 kW (10.9 hp) rise in power at 6,000 rpm and a 13.9 Nm surge in torque at 5,000 rpm, not needing any reprogramming. This setup is compatible with both cars that come with and without an OPF filter, albeit the ECE recognition is only valid for cars equipped with an OPF filter.

• The Akrapovič Sound Kit is available as an optional add-on, and for additional visual appeal a hand-crafted carbon-fiber rear diffuser can also be purchased to complement the Akrapovič tailpipes.
• This exhaust system is also offered with Octagonal Carbon Tips
