OS Giken’s R2CD Overhaul Kit B for Evo IV to IX clutches is the complete rebuild for the R2CD twin plate clutch: new discs, center plate, pressure plate and cover bolts, plus a new R cover with a fresh diaphragm spring. Nothing from the old clamping stack goes back into the car. It is the kit to choose when the original cover has seen enough heat or mileage that reusing it no longer makes sense, and it returns the clutch to the roughly 880 lb-ft rating OS Giken USA gives it. OS Giken USA describes the R series as its highest capacity clutch, built to withstand transmission shock and abuse from high-powered race cars.

About OS Giken

OS Giken was founded in Okayama, Japan in 1973 by Masaharu Okazaki. It built the TC16 and TC24-B1 DOHC cylinder heads for Nissan L-series engines, began making multi-plate racing clutches in 1982 and started supplying OEM limited-slip differentials in 1983. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
