OS Giken’s R2CD Overhaul Kit A for Evo IV to IX clutches brings a worn R2CD twin plate clutch back to full capacity by replacing both discs, the center plate, the pressure plate and the cover bolts, while the existing R cover stays in service. It is the economical rebuild when that cover is still flat and clamping evenly, and it returns the clutch to the roughly 880 lb-ft rating OS Giken USA gives it. OS Giken USA describes the R series as its highest capacity clutch, built to withstand transmission shock and abuse from high-powered race cars.

The R2CD Overhaul Kit A for Evo IV to IX clutches is matched to the R2CD clutch (MT031-BH6). Rebuilding before the clutch slips badly protects the flywheel and cover from heat damage. OS Giken also sells Overhaul Kit B (MT031-BH60B), which adds a new cover.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
