Nitron RacePro 3 Coilover Kit for S1 Lotus Exige

An S1 Exige that has been turned into a race car, or a track car that’s driven at race pace, outgrows a single-adjuster damper quickly. Its aero, light weight and short wheelbase make it fast, but it’s also sensitive. A small change at one end can tip the balance from secure to snappy. The Nitron Exige RacePro 3 kit gives you the tools to manage that. Rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression adjust separately at all four corners. You can calm the rear on corner entry, sharpen the front’s response, and let the car ride over curbs without one change undoing another. A 46mm piston gives the Nitron Exige RacePro 3 accurate, repeatable control under heavy aero and braking loads. Hose-mounted reservoirs at the front and rear carry the extra oil and gas volume that keeps damping consistent over a full race or a long timed session. Mounting brackets for the reservoirs are included.

Specialized Bi-Axis Hose Fittings

The S1 Exige leaves little room for reservoir hoses. At the front, the suspension is surrounded by the wide clamshell, radiator ducting and splitter supports. At the rear, the hoses have to clear the subframe, the exhaust and a mid-mounted engine that runs hot. The Nitron Exige RacePro 3 uses Nitron’s Bi-Axis fittings where each hose joins the damper. They swivel on two axes, so the hose can leave the damper already pointed along its intended path, with no sharp kinks and no contact with the wishbones as the suspension moves. The hoses stay protected through full travel and lock. You also get more choice in where the reservoirs mount, so the adjusters can sit where they’re quick to reach in the pit lane.

Rebound controls how quickly each corner extends, so it’s the tool for managing weight transfer and how the rear behaves when you trail-brake into a corner. Low-speed compression covers roll and pitch from driver inputs, which sets the car’s platform and how quickly the front bites. High-speed compression handles sharp, fast hits from curbs and track seams, so you can soften the car’s response to a curb without giving up body control anywhere else. The external reservoirs keep oil pressure and temperature stable as the session goes on. Very low internal friction lets each damper start working as soon as the wheel moves. Every click on the Nitron Exige RacePro 3 produces a defined, repeatable change, and a setup noted at one event can be dialed back in at the next.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
