Does this set fit the 2011 and later Scion tC?

No. Injector Dynamics lists application code 17.01 for the 2005 to 2010 tC with the 2.4 liter engine. It does not list the later car for this part number, so we do not either. If you have a 2011 or newer tC, contact us with the engine details and we will check with Injector Dynamics.

Can the ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set run a tC on pump gasoline?

Yes, with a capable tune, but the ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set is oversized for a gasoline tC. The large flow means very short pulses at idle. Dual Slope Matching helps keep those short pulses consistent, yet a smaller flow class is the simpler choice unless E85 or methanol is planned.

What connectors do these injectors use?

USCAR, on every injector in the set. If the factory plugs on your tC are Denso style, the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso plug and play adapters make the connection without cutting wires. Check one of your existing plugs before ordering.

How do I know these will work with my tune?

Your tuner loads the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the 2600, which includes flow, a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, and short pulse adders. With that data loaded and fuel pressure confirmed, the ECU can fuel the new injectors accurately.

Is there a warranty on this set?

Yes. Injector Dynamics warrants the set against manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, as long as it runs the correct fuel and proper filtration. Because the four injectors are flow matched, any single replacement goes through Injector Dynamics so the set stays balanced.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set for Scion tC 2.4L 2005-2010

Scion tC owners who have turbocharged the 2.4L and switched to alcohol fuel are the audience for this ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set, four 2600cc/min injectors coded for the 2005-2010 car. The 2AZ-FE was never built for high output, so by the time it needs 2600cc of fuel per injector, the bottom end, the turbo and the fuel pump have usually been replaced too. Kept on gasoline with a small turbo, the engine is better matched to the ID1300-XDS set. Each injector uses the 60mm body with an 11mm top and a Denso lower cushion to suit the factory bores.

Configuration

The 17.01 is the Injector Dynamics application code for the 2005-2010 tC 2.4L. The 60 is the 60mm body length, the 11 is the 11mm top adapter, and a Denso-style cushion sits at the lower end, matching how the factory injectors seat.

ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set matched as four for even cylinder fueling
Developed with Bosch Motorsport for liquid fuels, with corrosion-resistant internals
Highest flow rate of any injector Bosch offers, about 50 percent more than the ID1700x

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
