Which Civic Si model years does this set fit?

Injector Dynamics lists application code 07.21 for the 2012 to 2015 Civic Si with the 2.4 liter K24. The 2002 to 2005 Civic Si and the 2006 to 2011 Civic use a different 48mm configuration with a plain 14mm lower O-ring, so check the year and engine before ordering, especially on a swapped car.

Is the ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set too large for a stock Civic Si?

Yes, for a stock or bolt-on car. The ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set is sized for a boosted K24 burning E85 or methanol, where fuel demand rises sharply. On pump gasoline without forced induction, the ID1300-XDS version of this set covers the need and keeps more pulse width at idle.

Will the Civic Si run on these injectors without a tune?

No. The factory calibration expects the original injector flow and timing, and a 2600cc injector would badly overfuel the engine. Your tuner needs the Injector Dynamics characterization data, including the 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, to set fueling and battery voltage compensation.

Can I fill up with a race gas that contains MTBE?

No. Injector Dynamics rates the ID2600-XDS for methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels, but not for ethers such as MTBE, ETBE or TAME, and not for nitromethane. Check the data sheet of any oxygenated race fuel before using it. E85 and straight methanol are both within the rating.

What happens if one injector fails under warranty?

Injector Dynamics covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, provided the injectors run the correct fuel behind proper filtration. The four are flow matched to each other, so a single replacement is arranged through Injector Dynamics. Its Arizona facility also cleans, inspects and flow tests used sets.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set for Honda Civic Si 2012-2015

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set for Honda Civic Si 2012-2015 gives the 2.4L K24 four injectors rated at 2600cc/min, the largest flow class Injector Dynamics builds with Bosch Motorsport. That volume of fuel only makes sense on a Civic Si that has been turbocharged or supercharged and moved to E85 or methanol. A naturally aspirated or lightly boosted car on pump gasoline will use a small fraction of it, and the ID1300-XDS or ID1750-XDS version suits that car better. Dual Slope Matching keeps the four injectors consistent at the short pulse widths the K24 sees at idle.

Configuration

The 07.21 in the part number is the Injector Dynamics application code for the 2012-2015 Civic Si. The 48 is the 48mm body and the 14 is the grey 14mm top adapter, and the lower end carries a Denso cushion over the O-ring for the factory injector bores.

ID2600-XDS Fuel Injector Set flow matched as a group of four
Developed with Bosch Motorsport for liquid fuels, with corrosion-resistant internals
Dual Slope Matching in both the linear and non-linear range for consistent short pulse widths

Notes

Electrical connection is USCAR; Injector Dynamics makes adapters for EV1, OBD2 Honda and 2012+ Honda plugs, sold separately, and Denso-wired engines use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Coded 07.21 for the 2012-2015 Civic Si only; earlier Civic models take a different Injector Dynamics configuration
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data
Also offered as the ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set and the ID1750-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the same car

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
