J’s Racing 60mm Race Pipe for AP1 / AP2 Honda S2000

J’s Racing’s 60mm Race Pipe for AP1 and AP2 S2000s is a bolt-on length of SUS304 stainless tube that sits between the header and the rest of the exhaust. The Osaka tuner, which has built Honda parts since 1989, designed it to cut exhaust resistance sharply and reports power and torque gains from low to high rpm, about 8 PS on the S2000 by its own figure. Two O2 sensor bosses let one pipe serve both chassis, and the factory heat shield bolts back on. It suits an owner after a more responsive engine on a lightly modified S2000; heavily tuned engines are better matched to the 70mm version.

Construction

SUS304 stainless steel was chosen for its resistance to rust and its durability, and J’s Racing’s US distributor lists the flanges as steel. Installation is completely bolt-on using the gasket and bolts in the box, and the pipe carries mounting points so the factory heat shield goes back on as protection.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
