Which Aventador versions does the RYFT Front Lip for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ fit?

The RYFT front lip for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ models fits the LP 770-4 SVJ, launched in 2018 with its own front bumper and side fins. RYFT does not list it for the LP 700-4, S, SV or Ultimae. RYFT names the SVJ without separating coupe and Roadster, so Bulletproof Automotive confirms fitment details with RYFT before ordering for a Roadster.

How does the RYFT lip attach to the SVJ?

RYFT describes OE-level fitment for the lip. It locates on the factory mounting points of the SVJ front end, keeps the original alignment and panel gaps, and installs as a direct bolt-on. On a car whose front splitter houses the electronically actuated flaps of ALA 2.0, working from the factory points is the sensible approach.

Is the carbon on the RYFT SVJ lip exposed or painted?

Exposed. The lip shows RYFT signature two by two twill weave, the same visible carbon RYFT uses across its exterior range. On an SVJ, that weave sits close to the factory carbon of the front splitter, so the lip reads as part of the car rather than a painted add on, whatever the body color.

How should exposed carbon on a front lip be looked after?

A front lip takes stone chips and road grime before any other panel, so paint protection film on the leading edge is worth fitting at installation. Wash it with a pH neutral shampoo and a soft mitt, dry it rather than letting water spot, and keep a UV stable ceramic coating or sealant on the clear surface.

Should a specialist install the SVJ front lip?

Yes. RYFT describes a direct bolt-on using factory mounting points, but the work happens under the nose of a very low car with active aero hardware nearby. A shop that regularly handles Aventador bodywork can raise the car safely, protect the bumper paint and check the panel gaps RYFT designed the lip to preserve.

Description

RYFT Carbon Fiber Front Lip for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

RYFT’s front lip for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ owners is a carbon fiber piece for the lower edge of the LP 770-4 front bumper, laid up in RYFT’s 2×2 twill and fixed to mounting points Lamborghini already built into the car. The SVJ arrived in 2018 with 770 CV from its 6.5-litre V12, a new front bumper with side fins and ALA 2.0 active aero that Lamborghini credits with 40 percent more downforce than the SV. RYFT leaves that hardware alone and sharpens the outline, which suits an owner who likes the factory shape and wants visible carbon at its lowest point.

Construction

RYFT describes the fit as OE-level: the lip locates on the factory mounting points, keeps the original alignment and panel gaps, and bolts on directly. Its weave is the same 2×2 twill RYFT uses for its hoods, splitters and wings, so it sits naturally beside the RYFT Aventador hood, and on an SVJ that already wears factory carbon on its front splitter and engine cover it reads as part of the car.

Features

Carbon fiber in RYFT signature 2×2 twill weave
Drawn to reinforce the aggressive lines of the SVJ front bumper and its side fins
Locates on factory mounting points with alignment and panel gaps preserved
Direct bolt-on installation as RYFT describes it

Applications

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ: LP 770-4 | 2019-2021 | 6.5L naturally aspirated V12

Notes

RYFT lists this front lip for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ models only, not the LP 700-4, S, SV or Ultimae, and does not name the SVJ Roadster separately
RYFT does not publish a weight or aerodynamic figure for the lip
For the panel above it, see the RYFT Carbon Fiber Hood for Lamborghini Aventador
At the other end of the SVJ, RYFT offers the RYFT Titanium Performance Exhaust for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ / Ultimae and the RYFT Titanium Race Exhaust for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ / Ultimae

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
