Anyone who has pushed a Ferrari Dino 246 on a good road knows how quickly it reacts, and the Dino 246 NTR-R3 Coilover Kit from Nitron is built to give you control over that. The car has a 2,340mm wheelbase, weighs about 1,100kg and carries its V6 right behind the cabin, so it changes direction fast but needs its weight transfer managed. A damper with one fixed compromise has to choose between holding the body steady and soaking up broken pavement. This passive coilover kit gives each corner four independent adjusters, so you can tune body control and bump absorption separately for the road, a hill climb or a circuit.

Unique Technology

Every Nitron Dino 246 NTR-R3 damper is a monotube unit pressurized with nitrogen, with a hose-connected reservoir at each corner. The four adjusters split the damping into high speed compression, low speed compression, high speed rebound and low speed rebound. Low speed settings deal with what the car does under steering, braking and acceleration, while the high speed settings decide how it reacts to bumps, curbs and sharp edges. Because they work independently, you can firm up the platform without making the car harsh over rough surfaces, which is hard to do with a single control.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
