The Nitron Scirocco NTR-R1 Coilover Kit is made for 13x Scirocco owners, GTS and R included, who find the factory suspension too soft and floaty once the car is driven hard, and it replaces it with a passive damper that has a single adjustment at each corner. The Scirocco NTR-R1 uses one combined compression and rebound control, so you change how a corner behaves with one setting and not a stack of them. Adjustable spring perches set ride height, race springs come with the kit, and the rear is available as either a coilover or a divorced setup. For a Scirocco that sees fast back roads, track days, or a bit of both, the Scirocco NTR-R1 is a direct way to get proper damper control without making the car difficult to live with.

Unique Technology

Each Scirocco NTR-R1 damper is a passive nitrogen-pressurized monotube with an internal reservoir, so there are no remote hoses to route and nothing extra to mount. A single control at each corner adjusts compression and rebound together, which keeps the setup process short. You can start in the middle, drive the car, and move one corner or one axle in small steps until the body movement feels right. The Scirocco is a front-drive coupe that puts a lot of weight over the nose, so being able to firm up the front or soften the rear without rebuilding anything is useful.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
