The Nitron Scirocco NTR-R3 Coilover Kit is for 13x Scirocco owners, GTS and R included, who have outgrown a single damper setting and want to tune the car for the road, the track, or both. The Scirocco NTR-R3 gives each corner four independent adjustments, high speed and low speed for both compression and rebound, so you can control how the body moves separately from how the car deals with bumps and curbs. Hose-connected reservoirs are used at the front and piggyback reservoirs at the rear, adjustable spring perches set ride height, and the rear is offered as a coilover or a divorced setup.

Specialized Bi-Axis Hose Fittings

The front dampers connect to their reservoirs by hose, and the way each hose leaves the damper decides how neat and secure the install is. Nitron uses Bi-Axis fittings that rotate 720 degrees on two axes, so each hose can be turned toward its reservoir before you tighten it down. That lets you give every front line a short, natural run with no kinks or strain on the fitting, which helps when you are fitting reservoirs into a tight engine bay and wheel arch area. The rear reservoirs are piggyback and mount directly on the dampers, so there are no hoses to route at the back.

Unique Technology

A front-drive coupe with a turbocharged engine up front does a lot of its work on the nose, and the Scirocco NTR-R3 lets you tune that work in two layers. The low speed settings govern body control, so they decide how the car dives under braking, leans into a corner, and squats on the throttle. The high speed settings handle sharp inputs like a pothole, a curb, or a rough patch mid-corner, so they decide how well the tires stay in contact. Because the four adjustments are independent, softening the high speed side to calm a bumpy road does not change how the car turns in. The dampers are passive nitrogen-pressurized monotubes with remote reservoirs, hand assembled to order in the UK and fitted with race springs.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
