The Nitron 5F León Cupra NTR-R1 Coilover Kit is for Cupra and Cupra R owners who have enough power to outrun the factory dampers and want control that keeps up. A front-drive hatch with this much torque asks a lot of its dampers, both when the power arrives and when the car brakes hard for the next corner, and the Nitron Cupra NTR-R1 gives each corner a single dial that moves compression and rebound together. Adjustable spring perches set ride height and corner weights, and the kit comes with a choice of coilover or divorced rear suspension, so it matches the rear layout on your car. For a León that is driven hard on the road and now and then on track, the Cupra NTR-R1 is a simple way to take control of the damping.

Unique Technology

The NTR-R1 keeps damping to one decision per corner. One adjuster raises or lowers compression and rebound resistance together, so the car firms up or softens in steps you can feel and repeat. The reservoir is internal, which means no remote canisters and no hoses to route. Inside is a passive, nitrogen-pressurized monotube, hand assembled to order in the UK and paired with race springs, so the damper stays consistent when it is worked hard. It is an easy setup to learn on a car that already has plenty of performance to manage.

The 5F is covered in two rear forms, so the kit is available with a coilover rear, where the spring sits on the damper, or a divorced rear, where the spring and damper are kept separate, and the rear dampers are matched to whichever layout your León has. Either way, the front and rear gain adjustment the original dampers never offered.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
