GiroDisc’s 350mm Rear Rotors for McLaren 540C and 570GT cars are a direct replacement for the factory cast iron rear discs, bolting on without spacers. The two-piece design pairs a strictly US-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum hat with a ring of GiroDisc’s proprietary cast iron, connected by 10 cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins. The iron is poured in the USA and machined in-house, and curved internal vanes pump air through it under braking. Owners fitting the 380mm GiroDisc fronts will want these to finish the job at the rear.

Design and Performance

Floating the ring on drive pins lets it expand with heat independently of the hat, and anti-noise spring washers remove the cold rattle floating rotors can produce. The curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, drawing air from the hub and forcing it out through the disc. The slots clean the friction surface and prevent a film of water building in wet conditions.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
