GiroDisc’s 380mm Front Rotors for McLaren 540C and 570GT models step up from the 370mm factory iron disc to a 380mm two-piece floating assembly, and GiroDisc supplies the caliper spacers needed to fit it. The larger ring is joined to a US-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum hat by 12 cadmium-plated drive pins. The iron is GiroDisc’s own casting, poured in the USA and machined in-house in Bellingham, Washington. For a 540C or 570GT that sees track days on its factory iron brakes, it is a measured step up without a full big brake kit.

Fitment and Installation

The rotors suit cars that left the factory with cast iron rotors. The supplied spacers reposition the original calipers to suit the larger 380mm disc, so no other hardware is required. Each rotor is handed and labeled for its corner, and the cap screws that retain the drive pins are never tightened beyond 60 in-lb, or 7 Nm, so the ring keeps its float.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
