Plenty of DC5 owners end up wanting two alignments, a sensible one for the street and a more aggressive one for track days, and the front needs camber and caster movement to get there. Nitron’s DC5 Top Plates are machined aluminum Front Adjustable Top Plates that give the Acura RSX Type S and Honda Integra Type R adjustment of both at the top of each front strut. Camber changes how the front tires sit on the road in a corner, and caster changes steering weight, stability, and how the wheel’s angle shifts as you turn it.

Rubber-Free Construction

There is no rubber in the plate, so the strut is held in a fixed position and does not move when the front tires are loaded in braking and cornering. The alignment your shop sets is the one the car keeps. The cost is a bit more road noise and more of the surface coming through the mount, which suits a car you drive hard.

Machined for Nitron Coilovers

The plates are cut from aluminum, finished in titanium grey anodizing, and built around the Nitron damper mount. Dampers from other manufacturers may need modification to fit properly, so these are intended for use with Nitron coilovers.

Bespoke Engineering

Nitron machines these plates to suit the DC5 front strut and tower, with the mounting pattern and adjustment range set for this chassis. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
