What does the 3.5L Stage 1 Power Package include?

The 3.5L Stage 1 Power Package contains the AP3-FOR-007 Accessport V3, the 7F2200 Drop-In High Flow Filter and a COBB CARB sticker carrying EO D-660-24. There is no intake tubing or airbox in the box, because the filter is made to sit in the factory airbox where the stock paper element was.

Is this package legal in California?

Yes. COBB lists the package with California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-660-24, which makes it legal for sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when it is installed according to the COBB application guide. The included CARB sticker documents the EO for inspections.

Does it fit a 2019 F-150 or a 2020 Raptor?

No. COBB confirms this package for the USDM 2020 Ford F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost only. Trucks from 2017 to 2019 have separate engine and transmission controllers and take a different Accessport, and the Raptor and Limited have their own COBB part numbers. Check the model year and trim before ordering.

Does the Accessport also tune the transmission?

Yes. On the 2020 3.5L F-150 the engine and transmission share one controller, so each map flash covers both. COBB offers Simulated Stock, COBB OEM+ and COBB Sport transmission behaviors, which change shift points, shift firmness, skip shift logic and torque limits to suit how the truck is driven.

Is there a map for towing?

Yes. Performance Tow maps for 91 and 93 octane sit alongside the Stage 1 and Stage 2 maps. COBB quotes peak gains of 12.71 percent horsepower and 10.13 percent torque for the 93 octane tow file, and the Accessport can switch between a tow map and a daily map from the handheld.

Description

COBB Tuning 3.5L Stage 1 Power Package for P552 Ford F-150 (2020)

COBB Tuning’s 3.5L Stage 1 Power Package is the simplest way into COBB tuning on a 2020 F-150 with the 3.5L EcoBoost: an Accessport V3 that flashes the combined engine and transmission controller, plus a drop-in high flow filter that sits in the factory airbox. It carries CARB EO D-660-24, so California trucks qualify as well. Nothing under the hood is replumbed beyond the filter swap, which makes it a sensible fit for a work truck or a daily driver that has to stay close to stock. Anyone set on a full intake should start with a Stage 1+ package instead.

Drop-In Filter

The COBB High Flow Filter takes the place of the paper element inside the factory airbox. Woven cotton and metal mesh media on a precision molded rubber base give a high flow rate with low restriction while still filtering well, and the filter is built for a long service life. Because it drops into the original housing, the 3.5L Stage 1 Power Package leaves the factory intake tubing and airbox where Ford put them.

Features

Accessport V3 with a full color, higher resolution screen showing up to six live parameters
Race, street or dyno gauge layouts with interchangeable faceplates
Stores up to 100 maps and records up to 10 hours of datalogs
Woven cotton and metal mesh drop-in filter on a molded rubber base
Uninstall option returns the controller to its pre-flash state

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
