Does the Accessport V3 for B9 Audi cover the B9.5 facelift models?

Yes. COBB lists the B9 S4 and S5 through 2021, the B9 SQ5 through 2020, and the B9.5 versions of all three through 2023, every one of them as a US market vehicle. Models and years outside that list are not covered.

Is this Accessport legal to run in California?

Yes. This device carries California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-660-157, so it may be sold and used on emissions controlled S4, S5 and SQ5 models in every state, provided it is used in line with the COBB application guide.

Can the Audi be returned to the factory calibration?

Yes. The Uninstall option on the main menu writes the original calibration back and leaves the ECU exactly as it was before the Accessport was installed. Owners often do this before a dealer visit or before selling the vehicle, and nothing of the tune is left behind on the ECU.

My S4 already has a tune from another company. Can I flash over it?

No, not without help first. COBB warns that installing the Accessport over anything other than factory or COBB software may result in ECU or TCU failure. Return the ECU to stock with the tools from the previous tuner, or contact COBB support, before connecting the Accessport V3 for B9 Audi for the first time.

What can the screen display while driving?

The color screen shows up to six live values pulled directly from the ECU, such as boost, in layouts you set up for street, race or dyno use. The same unit reads trouble codes, logs data and times acceleration runs.

Description

COBB Tuning Accessport V3 for B9 Audi S4 / S5 / SQ5

COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3 for B9 Audi S4, S5 and SQ5 owners is a handheld flash tuner that mounts in the cabin, writes COBB calibrations to the engine computer and then earns its place on the dash as a six-parameter gauge display. It carries CARB Executive Order D-660-157, making it street legal on B9 and B9.5 models in all 50 states. Buy it for the calibration; the logging and code reading are why it stays mounted. If another tuner has already been in the ECU, call COBB support before the first flash.

Tuning and Support

The Accessport V3 for B9 Audi stores up to 100 calibrations, so an Off The Shelf map and a custom file from a COBB tuner can sit side by side, a menu selection apart. On-screen prompts identify the exact vehicle and list only the maps written for it. Should the S4, S5 or SQ5 need to go back to the dealer or to a new owner, the Uninstall option restores the ECU to its original state.

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
