Moton’s 2-Way Clubsport Coilovers for G8X BMW M2, M3 and M4 RWD come from the damper line that has won in GT and touring car racing since 1999. Rebound and compression adjust independently, with compression set on an external reservoir whose extra oil and gas volume keeps damping consistent as the units heat through a long session. It is the kit for an owner who tracks the car regularly and wants to tune grip and body control circuit by circuit.

Design and Performance

Separating compression from rebound lets a driver change how the car takes a kerb or loads its outside tire without changing how it recovers. A road car with two track days a year will not use it, and the Moton 1-Way Coilovers cover that brief for less; separate high-speed and low-speed compression is the job of the Moton 3-Way Motorsport Coilovers.

MOTON Suspension Technology was founded in the Netherlands in 1999, and by June 2000 around 30 percent of the cars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans ran its dampers. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
