How loud is the VF Engineering exhaust for Lamborghini Revuelto?

Very. The VF Engineering exhaust for Lamborghini Revuelto is valveless, so it stays fully open at every speed and there is no quiet setting. VF voices the EGO line toward a sharp, high-pitched tone it compares to a Formula 1 car. Owners who need a softer mode for neighbors or long highway drives should keep that in mind before ordering.

What is the EGO exhaust made from?

The Revuelto EGO system is offered in stainless steel at $14,995 or titanium at $18,995. Titanium is the lighter of the two and is the choice for owners who track the car, while stainless steel delivers the same valveless layout and sound for less money. Both are hand-built by VF Engineering in Anaheim, California.

Does the EGO exhaust add horsepower to the Revuelto?

VF Engineering tests every EGO system to confirm gains across the rev range, but it has not published dyno figures for the Revuelto exhaust. For a measured increase, VF Performance ECU Software for the Revuelto is rated at 1,055 hp against the factory 1,001 hp. The exhaust is bought mainly for sound and for the weight saved with titanium.

Is the EGO exhaust made for the Revuelto hybrid powertrain?

Yes. VF Engineering developed the EGO system specifically for the Revuelto, which pairs a 6.5 liter V12 with three electric motors. VF lists it for 2023 and later Revuelto models, and US cars begin at the 2024 model year. Send Bulletproof Automotive the VIN if you want fitment confirmed with VF before the order is placed.

Is the Revuelto EGO exhaust different from the Temerario system?

Yes. VF Engineering builds the two systems for different engines, a 6.5 liter V12 in the Revuelto and a twin turbo V8 in the Temerario, so neither can be fitted to the other car. Both are hand-built EGO Competition systems offered in stainless steel or titanium, and both are voiced for the same high-pitched character.

Description

VF Engineering Valveless Competition EGO Exhaust for Lamborghini Revuelto

VF Engineering’s Valveless Competition EGO Exhaust for Lamborghini Revuelto strips away every layer between the driver and a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that revs to 9,500 rpm. With no valves in the system there is no quiet setting to fall back on: the Revuelto sounds as committed at a walking pace as it does at the top of third gear, and that is the point. VF hand-builds the EGO line in Anaheim, California in stainless steel or titanium, and voices it toward a high, Formula 1 inspired shriek. It belongs on a Revuelto that is driven hard and often, not one kept for quiet Sunday arrivals.

Design and Performance

The Revuelto is a V12 plug-in hybrid with three electric motors, and VF developed the EGO system specifically for that powertrain. Titanium is the lighter of the two materials and suits track use, while stainless steel keeps the same valveless layout and voice for $4,000 less. VF tests every EGO system for power gains but has not published dyno figures for the Revuelto.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
