How much power does the VF ECU Software for Lamborghini Revuelto add?

VF Engineering rates its ECU Software for Lamborghini Revuelto at 1,055 hp and 840 lb-ft, against 1,001 hp and 793 lb-ft as delivered. That is a gain of 54 hp and 47 lb-ft. The naturally aspirated V12 has less headroom than a turbocharged engine, so much of the value lies in response, valve control and overrun tuning.

Do I have to send my ECU to VF Engineering?

Yes. The Revuelto engine control unit has to be shipped to VF Engineering in Anaheim, California to be unlocked. The process takes two to three business days and the unlocking service is included in the price. Once unlocked, the calibration is loaded through the OBD-II port.

Can the Revuelto software be removed?

Yes. The VF calibration is fully reversible, and the factory file can be restored through the OBD-II port at any time after unlocking. That lets an owner return the car to stock before a dealer visit or a sale without another trip to VF Engineering in Anaheim.

Will the software trigger warning lights?

No. VF Engineering states that the Revuelto calibration runs with no check engine light and no warning lights, and the factory file can be restored at any time. Owners keep the full dashboard behavior of a stock Revuelto while running the extra power, the sharper response and the adjustable valve and overrun settings.

Can I control the exhaust sound with the software?

Yes. The calibration gives the owner adjustable exhaust valve behavior and a customizable overrun, so the crackles and burbles on a lift can be made as subtle or as pronounced as you like. Owners who want a louder car still can add the VF Engineering EGO exhaust built for the Revuelto.

Description

VF Engineering Performance ECU Software for Lamborghini Revuelto

VF Engineering’s Performance ECU Software for Lamborghini Revuelto raises the V12 hybrid from 1,001 hp to a published 1,055 hp, with torque climbing from 793 to 840 lb-ft by VF’s measurement. The gain is modest next to a turbocharged car, as it should be on a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter engine, and the calibration earns its place through what else it unlocks: adjustable valve behavior, a customizable overrun with crackles and burbles, and sharper throttle response. It runs without a check engine light and can be returned to stock at any time. This is the software for a Revuelto owner who wants the car to feel more alive without changing a single part.

Installation

The Revuelto engine control unit must first be unlocked by VF in Anaheim, California. The ECU is shipped to VF, unlocked in two to three business days, and returned; that service is included in the price. After unlocking, the calibration is loaded through the OBD-II port, and the same connection returns the car to the factory file whenever the owner chooses.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
