How much power does the VF ECU Software for Lamborghini Temerario add?

VF Engineering rates its ECU Software for Lamborghini Temerario at 1,050 hp and 675 lb-ft, against the factory 907 hp and 538 lb-ft. That is a gain of 143 hp and 137 lb-ft, measured by VF on the Temerario itself. Results can vary with fuel quality and conditions, as they do with any calibration.

How is the Temerario software installed?

VF Engineering installs the calibration at its facility in Southern California or at one of its authorized dealer locations. Contact Bulletproof Automotive after ordering and we will coordinate the appointment with VF. Allow time for the visit itself, because the software is loaded to the car by VF technicians rather than shipped to the owner.

Does the software change how the Temerario sounds?

Yes. VF Engineering states that the calibration gives the owner greater control over how the Temerario sounds and behaves, in addition to the power increase. For the largest change in sound, VF also builds the EGO Competition exhaust for the Temerario, which pairs naturally with the software.

Do I need other parts to run the VF software?

No. VF Engineering publishes the Temerario figures for the software alone, with no supporting hardware listed. It is a calibration of the factory engine control unit, so the car keeps its factory turbochargers, intake and exhaust unless the owner chooses to add VF hardware later.

Is the Temerario software available for every model year?

VF Engineering lists the software for 2025 and later Lamborghini Temerario models. Send Bulletproof Automotive the VIN before ordering if you would like compatibility confirmed, and we will check it with VF ahead of booking the installation so the visit goes as planned.

Description

VF Engineering Performance ECU Software for Lamborghini Temerario

VF Engineering’s Performance ECU Software for Lamborghini Temerario takes the twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid from its factory 907 hp to a published 1,050 hp, with torque rising from 538 to 675 lb-ft. Lamborghini leaves headroom in the Temerario powertrain, and VF’s Anaheim engineers recalibrate the engine side of it for more power, sharper response and greater control over how the car sounds and behaves. The calibration is developed and validated in house on VF’s own chassis dyno, the same process behind its supercharger and turbocharger programs. It is the logical first modification for a Temerario owner who wants measurable performance without touching the hardware.

Development and Testing

VF develops each calibration in its 15,000 sq ft Orange County facility, where a Mustang AWD 500 dyno and a clean room for ECU board work sit under one roof. The Temerario figures are VF’s own measurements for this car: a gain of 143 hp and 137 lb-ft over the factory rating.

Installation

VF installs the software at its Southern California facility or through its authorized dealer network worldwide. Contact us after ordering and we will coordinate the installation with VF so the car is booked in on a date that suits you.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. Please review the full Terms & Conditions here.

BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
