What is the VF Engineering exhaust for Lamborghini Temerario made from?

The VF Engineering EGO exhaust for Lamborghini Temerario is offered in stainless steel at $13,995 or titanium at $17,995. Titanium is the lighter of the two and suits owners who track the car or weigh every component, while stainless steel gives the same layout and sound character for less money.

How does the EGO exhaust sound on the Temerario?

VF Engineering tuned the EGO line for a sharp, high-pitched tone that it compares to a Formula 1 car, rather than a deep drone. The Temerario V8 revs to 10,000 rpm, so the system is at its most dramatic near the top of the rev range, and VF describes the sound as constant and unfiltered.

Does the EGO exhaust add horsepower?

VF Engineering states that every EGO system is tested to confirm horsepower and torque gains across the rev range, but it has not published dyno figures for the Temerario. For a measured increase, VF offers Performance ECU Software for the Temerario, which it rates at 1,050 hp against the factory 907 hp. The exhaust is chosen mainly for sound and weight.

Does the Temerario EGO exhaust keep the factory valves?

Yes. The VF Engineering EGO exhaust for Lamborghini Temerario reuses the factory exhaust valves, carried over from the original system at installation, and they stay on the factory controls. The car opens and closes them as it does with the standard exhaust, while the stainless steel or titanium EGO pipework and dual tips change the sound and save weight.

Which Temerario model years does the EGO exhaust fit?

VF Engineering lists the EGO exhaust for 2026 and later Lamborghini Temerario models. Owners of an earlier car should send the VIN to Bulletproof Automotive before ordering, and we will confirm fitment with VF so the system arrives ready for that specific vehicle.

Description

VF Engineering Competition EGO Exhaust for Lamborghini Temerario

VF Engineering’s Competition EGO Exhaust for Lamborghini Temerario gives the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 hybrid a voice worthy of an engine that revs to 10,000 rpm. The EGO line is hand-built by the Anaheim team behind VF’s supercharger and turbocharger systems, in stainless steel or in titanium for owners chasing the lightest possible system. VF tuned the sound toward a high, sharp, Formula 1 inspired frequency rather than a low drone, and it reuses the factory exhaust valves. It is made for the owner who drives for sensation and wants the car heard; anyone content with the factory sound will find it more exhaust than they need.

Design and Performance

The Temerario pairs its V8 with three electric motors, and VF shaped the EGO system around that hybrid powertrain. Titanium is the lighter material and the natural choice for a car that sees track days, while stainless steel keeps the same layout and sound for $4,000 less. VF states that every EGO system is tested to confirm power gains, but it has not published dyno figures for this car.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
