Endless Brake Pads for 992.2 Porsche 911 Carrera S and Carrera GTS
Endless’s Brake Pads for 992.2 Porsche 911 Carrera S and Carrera GTS are for the refreshed 911, launched on May 28, 2024 with the Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, the first hybrid 911 to go into full-scale production, and joined by the new Carrera S in January 2025. Endless lists a different pair for both cars than for the earlier 992 Carrera S: EIP252 at the front and EIP241 at the rear, the rear pad it also lists for the 992 Turbo and GT3. For a GTS or Carrera S used on fast roads with the occasional track day, MX72 Plus is our recommendation.
Features
- Endless pad shapes EIP252 front and EIP241 rear for the 992.2 Carrera S and Carrera GTS on iron brakes
- Street and track-day compounds SSM Plus, MX72, MX72 Plus and CC-Rg
- Eighteen racing compounds: the fifteen-strong Racing Group, W003, S330 and MA45B
- Each compound sold for the front axle, the rear axle or both
Choosing a Compound
Most 992.2 Carrera S and GTS owners will be best served by one of the street compounds. SSM Plus is the quiet, clean choice for a car used on the road, and Endless does not make SSS for these shapes. MX72 Plus suits a car on street tires that sees track days, and CC-Rg suits regular circuit use if the owner can live with its road noise. The racing compounds are for cars prepared for competition. W007 and W008, which Endless prices for these shapes, are left off: Endless designs both for carbon ceramic rotors, and this listing is for the iron brakes.
Every figure below is Endless’s own. Friction is the compound’s average friction coefficient, so a higher number gives more bite for the same pedal pressure. The rotor range is the band of rotor temperatures Endless designs the compound to work in, so choose by the temperatures your car will see.
Street and street-to-track compounds
- SSM Plus (street): non-asbestos; friction 0.33-0.40; rotor range 0-550C (32-1022F). Low dust, low noise and long life. Braking builds with pedal pressure rather than a sharp first bite, for drivers who want clean wheels and a quiet car.
- MX72 (street to light track): ceramic carbon metal; friction 0.37-0.47; rotor range 50-700C (122-1292F). Minimal noise and dust, strong friction at low temperatures, reduced rotor wear and a better pedal feel than a typical semi-metallic pad. Endless’s dual-duty compound for a road car that sees the occasional track day.
- MX72 Plus (street to circuit): ceramic carbon metal; friction 0.39-0.47; rotor range 50-750C (122-1382F). Holds its braking force to higher temperatures than MX72, with stable control and a consistent pedal release. Endless aims it at cars on street tires that run on track.
- CC-Rg (track day, street capable): ceramic carbon metal; friction 0.38-0.45; rotor range 50-800C (122-1472F). High initial bite across a wide temperature range, even when cold, and modulation that works with the factory ABS under hard use. Endless notes it is noisy on the street; it is the step up from MX72 Plus for regular track days.
Racing compounds
Each option below is one choice in the Choose Compound menu. For a group, name your compound in the order notes and Bulletproof Automotive confirms it with your order. Every racing compound needs Endless’s bedding procedure: at 70 to 80 percent of normal pedal effort, bring the rotors gradually to 400C (752F), then let them cool below 150C (302F) before hard use.
Racing Group
- ME22: dual braking style; friction 0.33-0.38; rotor range 150-800C (302-1472F). Developed from ME20 with lower friction for control, for light to mid-weight cars or heavier cars on slower circuits. Endless rates it for street and track.
- ME20: trail-braking style; rotor range 150-800C (302-1472F). High, stable friction at high temperature with low wear, developed for touring cars and rally. Works front or rear, with stock or racing ABS.
- N35S: trail-braking style; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). Quick, sharp and responsive, with stable modulation under high temperature and load. Endless’s flagship rally compound, also run in FIA GT, and its suggested starting point for drivers new to Endless racing pads.
- N05U: trail-braking style; friction 0.46-0.53; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). More bite than N35S, popular in sprint-focused Porsche Cup cars.
- N05S: trail-braking style; friction 0.45-0.53; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). Immediate high friction with little pedal effort, used in Japanese rally cars without brake boosters and in European and Australian sprint racing.
- N30C: friction 0.50-0.60; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). High initial bite, gentle on rotors and low wear. A rally compound for cars without a brake booster.
- MS20: friction 0.32-0.38; rotor range 150-800C (302-1472F). A low-friction rear pad with a flat torque curve and long life, for club racing cars.
- MS25: friction 0.36-0.42; rotor range 150-800C (302-1472F). Warms up gradually even under heavy braking. Endless pairs it with a higher-friction pad to prevent lock-up.
- MS35: friction 0.45-0.53; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). Mid to high initial bite with good modulation and control, a sprint pad for a wide range of conditions.
- ML20A: friction 0.30-0.33; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). A rear compound with lower initial bite to prevent rear lock-up, for lightweight GT cars.
- ML35A: friction 0.30-0.38; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). Slightly lower friction with excellent modulation and wear, for lighter GT cars.
- ML40A: friction 0.32-0.47; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). Moderate friction that resists lock-up, an endurance compound.
- S55G: Endless publishes no figures. It suits lightweight and front-wheel-drive cars, and the rear of front-wheel-drive cars, with high controllability.
- PC35: Endless publishes no figures. More bite than N35S with high braking force and a stable pedal; Endless’s base pad for rally raid.
- S41S: Endless publishes no figures. Developed for GT cars, including GT3, under high brake loads.
Sold as their own options
- W003: trail-braking style; friction 0.40-0.45. Similar in character to N35S with better wear, tough and stable at high temperature with a linear torque curve; run in rally, touring cars, ALMS and PWC. Circuit only: Endless does not recommend it for the street and notes high rotor wear when cold.
- S330: trail-braking style; friction 0.60-0.70; rotor range 300-850C (572-1562F). High friction for sprint racing, with good control at high levels and without accelerating rotor wear; run in Super GT, stock cars and GT2 and GT3 sprint racing.
- MA45B: standard braking style; rotor range 300-800C (572-1472F). Endless’s endurance compound: low friction but stable for a whole race, with excellent heat resistance and wear. Most Nurburgring and Spa 24 Hours entrants run it.

- Not for the 992 Carrera S built through 2024, which takes EIP240 front and EIP218 rear pads
- Endless names the Carrera S and the GTS; for a 992.2 Carrera 4S or another all-wheel-drive version, check with Bulletproof Automotive first
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do the Endless Brake Pads for 992.2 Carrera S fit a 2020 to 2024 Carrera S? No. Endless lists different shapes for the two versions. The 992 Carrera S built through 2024 takes EIP240 at the front and EIP218 at the rear, while the 992.2 Carrera S and GTS take EIP252 and EIP241. Check whether the car is a 992 or a 992.2 before ordering; Bulletproof Automotive can confirm from the VIN or the model year.
- Do these pads fit a 992.2 with PCCB? No. They are for the standard iron brakes. A 992.2 Carrera S or GTS ordered with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes takes different pads, and the compounds Endless designs for carbon ceramic rotors, W007 and W008, are not part of this listing.
- Which Endless compound suits a 992.2 GTS on a track day? MX72 Plus, for a GTS on street tires at occasional track days; Endless rates it to 750C, or 1382F, with stable control and a consistent pedal release. For regular circuit days CC-Rg holds high bite across a wider range, to 800C, or 1472F, even when cold, and works with the factory ABS, though Endless says it is noisy on the road.
- Which model years do these pads cover? Endless lists its Brake Pads for 992.2 Carrera S and GTS cars from 2026 on. The 992.2 Carrera GTS was revealed in May 2024 as a 2025 model, and Endless does not list that year, so a 2025 GTS owner should check with Bulletproof Automotive before ordering. The Carrera S of this generation was first shown in January 2025.
- Which compound keeps a 992.2 Carrera S quiet and clean? SSM Plus. Endless rates it for low dust, low noise and long life, with braking that builds through pedal pressure, which suits a Carrera S kept for road driving. Endless does not offer SSS in EIP252 or EIP241. If the car also sees fast mountain roads, MX72 keeps noise and dust low while giving stronger friction at low temperatures.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only.

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at
