Verus Engineering’s High Downforce Front Splitter Kit for C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the step past the WF Spec kit, built for the dedicated track driver who needs more front downforce than the Verus Ventus 3 setup provides. Verus designed it to balance the V1X rear wing and rates it to generate and withstand more than 500 lb. The one-piece carbon polyweave blade carries two 3D printed carbon nylon diffuser tunnels shaped in CFD. For a Stingray used mainly on the road, the WF Spec kit is the better buy.

Design and Performance

Verus refined the splitter and air dam together through iterative CFD on scan data from the car, sizing the front load against the rear wing and diffuser so the balance stays safe at the limit. A ten-piece bracket kit ties the blade to several chassis locations.

About Verus Engineering

Verus Engineering designs aerodynamic and performance parts in Indianapolis, Indiana. Two engineers founded it in late 2014 as Velox Motorsports and renamed it in 2017 after a trademark dispute; verus is Latin for true or complete. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
