Are the Boost Logic High Flow Headers for 991 Turbo a direct replacement?

Yes. Boost Logic designs the High Flow Headers for 991 Turbo as direct replacements for the factory headers, so they bolt into the original locations on the 3.8 liter twin-turbo engine and the turbos mount as before. Boost Logic recommends running them with its 68mm VTG turbocharger upgrades for the best result.

Do the headers fit both the 991.1 and 991.2 Turbo?

Boost Logic lists the headers for the 991 Turbo, and both the 991.1 and the 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S use the 3.8 liter twin-turbo flat-six the headers are built for. Owners of special or limited models should confirm fitment with Bulletproof Automotive before ordering.

What finish do the headers come in?

The headers ship with a polished finish as standard. Boost Logic can apply the bronze ceramic coating seen in some of the product photos, or another color, on request, and Bulletproof Automotive can quote that coating option when the order is placed.

Will the headers add power with factory turbos?

Boost Logic does not publish power figures for the headers alone and recommends them with its 68mm VTG turbo upgrades. On a car with factory turbochargers they are best treated as a supporting modification for a future turbo upgrade rather than as a standalone gain.

Are the headers sold as a pair?

Yes. The headers are sold as a pair, one for each cylinder bank of the flat-six, which is the full set a 911 Turbo needs. Boost Logic does not list gaskets or mounting hardware as included, so plan to source new gaskets for the installation.

Description

Boost Logic High Flow Headers for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo

Boost Logic’s High Flow Headers for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo are direct replacements for the factory headers on the 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six, built to feed Boost Logic’s larger 68mm VTG turbocharger upgrades. Boost Logic has developed turbo systems for the 911 Turbo since the 996 generation, and it recommends these headers specifically alongside those turbo upgrades. They ship polished as standard, and the bronze ceramic coating seen in some of the photos can be ordered on request. Boost Logic positions them as a companion to its turbo upgrades rather than as a standalone power part, so they suit a car with bigger turbos planned.

Design and Performance

The headers replace the factory parts in their original locations, so the turbos, heat shielding and downstream exhaust mount as before. Boost Logic sized them to support the flow of its 68mm VTG turbo upgrades, which is the combination it recommends.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
