While no single upgrade defines this Turbo, the combination of faster shifts, precise handling, and added horsepower makes the 991.2 an exceptional evolution over the 991.1 Turbo. The largely unchanged factory intake system allows the IPD Plenum and Y-Pipe to fit with minimal adjustments, further enhancing the Turbo’s already impressive performance.

IPD 74mm Plenum for 991.2 Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S / GT2 RS [91274.2]

IPD took delivery of its 991.2 Turbo S, and research and development began immediately upon its arrival. The Turbo does not significantly benefit from any single upgrade, but the sum of its improvements delivers a superior overall vehicle compared to the already impressive 991.1 Turbo it replaces. While this Turbo is faster than the previous generation with an additional 20 horsepower, it is the combination of lightning-fast shifts, razor-sharp handling, and a deeper connection to the vehicle that elevates the driving experience of the extraordinary 991.2 Turbo. Porsche made several substantial upgrades with the 991.2 Turbo, including revised intake ports, larger injectors, a higher-volume fuel pump, larger turbo compressor wheels, and more efficient intercoolers. However, the factory intake system remained relatively unchanged, allowing the IPD Plenum and Y-Pipe to fit with only minor modifications.

Power

The 991.2 Turbo Plenum upgrade delivers remarkable engine power and torque gains, significantly enhancing the performance of the already potent supercar. Horsepower gains are evident across the entire power band, with the majority of increases occurring between 3500-5000rpm. Peak power gains of +45 wheel horsepower are achieved at 4300rpm and continue strong up to redline. Torque gains are even more impressive, with an increase of 60+ in the midrange and substantial gains between 3500-5000rpm.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US.
