ADRO Prepreg Carbon Rear Diffuser for 992.1 Porsche 911 GT3

The ADRO 992.1 GT3 Rear Diffuser is the working half of ADRO’s rear treatment for the 911 GT3: where the rear apron panel reshapes the visible face of the bumper, the diffuser sits underneath and does the aerodynamic job, expanding and accelerating air leaving the underbody to pull the back of the car down. It is a full replacement for the factory diffuser, developed with CFD rather than drawn by eye, laid up in prepreg carbon fiber and fitted to the 992.1 (all trims) using the existing mounting points.

How a Diffuser Earns Its Keep

Air leaving the underbody is travelling fast and at low pressure. A diffuser gives that air a controlled expansion on its way out, and the pressure difference between the underside and the air above the car is what presses the rear axle into the road. ADRO’s vertical strakes divide the volume into channels so the flow expands evenly instead of breaking down at one side, which is what turns a shape into usable downforce and stops the effect collapsing when the car is loaded up mid-corner.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
