Most carbon splitters are drawn by eye and validated afterwards. This one was solved for: ADRO’s in-house AOX software ran adjoint CFD loops against fixed downforce and balance targets until the geometry stopped improving, and the finished package was then calibrated on track at Cadwell Park in the United Kingdom with Formula 1 driver Liam Lawson. Laid up in prepreg carbon fiber and finished to ADRO’s OEM fitment standard, it is aerodynamic hardware for an owner who measures the return in lap time rather than in looks.

Engineered by Algorithm

AOX, ADRO’s Aerodynamic Optimization eXperience software, uses advanced adjoint methods to search for optimal aerodynamic geometry against a defined objective. ADRO sets the downforce target, the balance the car needs to hold and the physical limits the surface may move within, then the solver runs repeated CFD iterations, moving the geometry incrementally until it converges on the best available answer. The profile of this splitter is an output of that process rather than a styling exercise, which is what separates the ARD line from ADRO’s street aero.
