The J’s Racing Black Series Damper RR is the circuit-spec coilover J’s Racing developed jointly with RS-R exclusively for the FK8 Honda Civic Type R, tuned for damping force during the small, repeated strokes that define hard circuit driving. Mono-tube dampers with 36-step adjustment ride on 18 kgf/mm springs at both ends, full-length adjusters change ride height without giving up stroke, and pillow-ball front upper mounts add camber adjustment where the FK8 needs it most.

Design and Performance

The single adjuster changes bump and rebound together through 36 steps front and rear, and the damper oil is specified to damp smoothly when cold while resisting oil-film breakdown at high temperature. An integrated electronic damper warning canceller is included, so the FK8’s adaptive damper system is disabled cleanly with no dash warning, and dedicated front stabilizer links come in the kit. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
