A CFD developed trunk lid collector with a central air outlet, feeding the engine cooling air without paying for it in drag.
Moshammer Ram Air Collector sits on the trunk lid of the 997 Turbo and does the unglamorous work properly: it supplies cooling air to the engine far more efficiently than the standard arrangement. A central air outlet in the middle of the collector improves airflow to the engine compartment without compromising the drag coefficient, which is exactly the trade Moshammer’s CFD development exists to avoid. It matters most in warm climates, and on cars already running an ECU tune with an upgraded plenum and Y-pipe, where the standard intake becomes the ceiling. Delivered unpainted with mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), it installs at the original screw points and, where needed, with a special adhesive. Made in Berlin in small batches, it is a performance part that happens to look like it belongs.
Moshammer Automotive is a Berlin-based manufacturer of OEM+ aerodynamic refinement for Porsche, with a smaller line for Mini, Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. The house style is restraint with intent: parts drawn to look as though the factory had gone one step further, developed against original mounting points, TUV-documented where German road use demands it, and produced in small batches rather than stocked in volume. Their catalog spans single accents such as vent grills and wing end blades through complete Downforce and Tradition RS aero programs, alongside a range of multipiece forged wheels made to order in any size, width, and finish.
