Moshammer Tradition RS Aero Kit gives the wide body 997.2 what the factory left unfinished, a lower body treatment with the same conviction as the car’s rear haunches. Four components make up the set: a front spoiler with its own Gen2 part number, side skirts profiled for the broader sills of the Carrera 4 and 4S, a fixed ducktail across the deck lid and a rear diffuser sized for the wide rear valance. A wide body 997 already commands the road, but the standard sills and lower panels understate what the shell is doing. The wide body side skirts fill that gap, the front spoiler pulls the nose closer to the ground visually, and the ducktail places a familiar Porsche silhouette above the engine cover. The diffuser then closes the composition at the rear valance, where the wide body car has the most surface to work with.

Moshammer describes the package as providing optimal aerodynamic properties, achieved by treating the car as a single surface rather than four separate opportunities. Frequently Asked Questions

Which 997.2 models take the wide body kit? The wide body shell is used by the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S, so those cars take this version. Rear wheel drive Carrera and Carrera S cars need the narrow body kit instead.
Are the side skirts different from the narrow body version? Yes, they are a separate part with a different Moshammer number, cut to follow the wider sill of the four wheel drive shell. It is the main reason the two kits are catalogued separately.
Does the ducktail suit the wide body silhouette? It is arguably the best argument for the kit. The fixed ducktail balances the visual mass of the wide rear arches and gives the deck lid a shape the standard car never had.
How long does installation usually take? A shop familiar with Porsche bodywork will typically plan a day for fitting plus the paint work beforehand, since every panel locates on original screw points and is bonded with a special adhesive where the design requires.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
