Moshammer Downforce Evo RS answers a question that follows every 991.2 Turbo S owner out of the dealership: what do you add to a car that already does everything, without spoiling the way it looks doing it. The Berlin answer is a six part aerodynamic set derived from the GT-RS cars, comprising a front spoiler in Evo I or Evo II form, side skirts, a rear spoiler extension, a rear diffuser drawn for the 991.2 rear valance and two ram air scoops at the intercooler inlets. Nothing here is decoration: the skirts cut turbulence, the diffuser trades drag for downforce, the wing extension loads the rear axle for cornering and high speed stability, and the scoops keep intercooler temperatures in check when the car is used properly. It ships unpainted with mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), assembled in the small production batches that make Moshammer worth waiting for. Design and Choices

The 991.2 Turbo wears its facelifted bumpers well, so Moshammer sharpened rather than replaced the language. The front spoiler comes two ways, Evo I for a bolder and more aggressive nose or Evo II with side wings for a sharper, sleeker and more modern read, and the rest of the package follows that decision. Side skirts lower the visual mass, while the diffuser and rear spoiler extension give the tail the race inspired presence associated with the GT-RS models.

Aerodynamic Function

Each component contributes to a single result: composure at speed. The side skirts minimise air turbulence and improve handling and stability, the rear diffuser dissipates heat while reducing drag and increasing downforce for traction, and the rear spoiler extension generates additional rear downforce for improved cornering and high speed control. The ram air scoops improve intercooler efficiency and overall aerodynamic efficiency, which matters on a Turbo S that can ask a great deal of its charge cooling.

Construction and Fitment

This is a made to order German part, produced in Berlin and shipped unpainted with the mounting material so the finish is chosen rather than inherited. Installation uses the OEM screwing points with a special glue where the design requires, and the diffuser is specified for the 991.2 rear valance rather than adapted from the earlier car. A TUV parts certificate (§19.3) is included with the set.

Is this kit different from the 991.1 Turbo version? Yes. The component philosophy is shared, but the rear diffuser is specified for the 991.2 rear valance and the kit is catalogued separately for the facelift car, so the panels follow the later bumpers.
Which front spoiler suits a Turbo S best? Both are offered because owners disagree. Evo I is the more aggressive interpretation for a bold front end, while Evo II uses side wings for a sharper, more modern and sleeker look that emphasises width.
Do the ram air scoops help on a road driven car? They improve intercooler efficiency and general airflow, so the benefit is greatest during sustained hard driving and track sessions. On a road car they are largely a visual and cooling insurance policy, both of which owners tend to value on a Turbo S.
How is it attached to the car? All parts install at the OEM screwing points and are secured with a special glue where needed, and the required mounting material is supplied with the kit.
Is the set street legal in Germany? Moshammer supplies a TUV parts certificate (§19.3) with the kit, which is the documentation German registration requires for approved add on parts.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
