Their intercooler features the same type of core structure as the original, with a 63mm thick tube & fin core. The development of this intercooler used a unit from the highly exotic Porsche 964 Leichtbau as the blueprint for all shapes and dimensions. While aiming to match the stock appearance, do88’s intercooler surpasses the original in both cooling performance and pressure drop, ensuring that functionality is not compromised for aesthetics.

Installation

• The intercooler is designed for a direct fit in all 3.3L and 3.6L Porsche 964 Turbos, ensuring straightforward installation. Given the hand-built nature of these cars, slight adjustments to the intercooler brackets might be necessary to achieve the perfect fit. Fortunately, the original equipment intercooler brackets allow for these adjustments, which may have been necessary even during the original production line, as the shapes of the OE intercoolers observed during the development process varied slightly.
