Moshammer Touring Evo Wide Body kit was made for the last of the pre-992 cars, the 991.2 GTS, whose broad hips have always invited a proper ducktail. The set brings a Front spoiler Evo drawn for the GTS, a pair of side skirts, a rear diffuser and your choice of the Ducktail Evo or the Ducktail Evo II, so the wide-body silhouette gains definition at every corner. Heritage and Design

The ducktail is the oldest idea in this catalogue and still the most eloquent, and on a wide-body 991.2 it lands perfectly. Wide Body Proportion

A wide-body shell needs its extremities addressed or the width simply looks unfinished. Installation and Supply

Article P991.42.8000 is delivered unpainted with the mounting material included, and all parts are installed at OEM screwing points with special glue, so nothing on the car is cut. A TUV parts certificate (§19.3) accompanies the kit for documented approval. Production happens in small Berlin batches, so a set is built when it is ordered.

Which ducktail should I choose? The Ducktail Evo is the original Moshammer profile and the Evo II is the later, more pronounced interpretation. Both mount the same way, so it comes down to how assertive you want the rear deck to look.
Does my car need to be a wide body? Yes. The kit is intended for 991.2 Carrera GTS models with standard bumpers, PSE and the wide body shell.
How is it fitted? All parts install at OEM screwing points and are bonded with special glue, with the mounting material supplied in the kit. No cutting of the bodywork is involved.
Is it painted to my colour before shipping? No, article P991.42.8000 is delivered unpainted. Most owners have the parts sprayed to their colour code during fitting, and we can quote painted parts on request.
Does it come with paperwork? Yes, a TUV parts certificate (§19.3) is supplied, which covers German registration requirements. Check your local rules if the car is registered elsewhere.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
