The Porsche 991 GT3 exhaust from SOUL Performance is a 3-in-1 modular exhaust solution combining Side Muffler Bypass Pipes, Center Muffler Bypass Exhaust, and bespoke support brackets for an aggressive system that can be reconfigured as track conditions or preferences change. The package yields significant weight savings of 46lbs in the valved configuration and 49lbs non-valved, helps with heat management in the engine bay, and prevents heat soak to the rear tires. Development and Testing

SOUL was approached to create an exhaust solution to maximize sound and weight reduction while maintaining reasonable cabin presence. The team took this further by making the solution modular, combining side and center muffler deletes so owners can mix and match the system with the factory center muffler or side mufflers to experiment with different sound characteristics and overall sound level. Since deleting the factory center and side mufflers simultaneously removes the factory support brackets, SOUL created bespoke support brackets specifically for this combination of components. The result is a Porsche 991 GT3 exhaust built to let owners tailor sound and weight savings to their exact use case.

Valved and Non-Valved Configurations

This system is available in valved and non-valved configurations. The valved configuration maintains factory PSE button control. With valves closed, 100% of the exhaust channels through smaller-diameter piping before entering the expansion chamber of the center muffler bypass, creating a notable difference in exterior sound level that is less pronounced in the cabin. The expansion chamber design of the center muffler reduces drone and vibration in the cabin, delivering the most reasonable cabin presence of any straight-pipe headerback or catback configuration SOUL has tested on the GT3 platform. Both configurations of the Porsche 991 GT3 exhaust are engineered to deliver a distinct, track-ready character without sacrificing daily usability.

Construction

Each exhaust component is made from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing. Mikalor Supra Heavy-Duty W4 Clamps are included to mount the system to the vehicle and to mount single wall tips. Projection welding spots, swinging bridge, high-strength stainless steel bolt, and the exclusive design of the captive nut and trunnion offer superior clamping forces and longevity. AccuSeal clamps connect the exhaust to the side mufflers. A variety of exhaust tip options are available, from double wall tips to single wall stainless steel tips, with optional logo customization. The 991.2 tips are longer than the 991.1 version due to the difference in rear bumper depth, providing perfect fitment across all years.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks.
