The SOUL Performance C8 Corvette exhaust is a non-valved 3-inch performance rear exhaust system engineered for the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray to unleash a more aggressive V8 roar while reducing heat soak through a bespoke PTP Lava Turbo Blanket heat shielding solution. Development

The factory valved exhaust flows freely with valves open, but SOUL wanted to craft an aggressive non-valved solution that mitigates drone through a longer exhaust tract. The split bank 3-inch crossover design maximizes flow and V8 rumble while shedding approximately 20 lbs. Valve Simulators are included for both NPP and AFM valves to enable removal without a check engine light.
Due to the close proximity of the exhaust to sensitive components and plastic on the C8 platform, heat shielding is essential. SOUL has partnered with PTP Turbo Blankets to produce a bespoke, form-fitting heat shielding solution. PTP Lava Turbo Blankets use an outer layer of pulverized volcanic lava rock fabric (rated 1,800°F direct heat / 2,500°F radiant heat) woven into a tight mesh weave, internally insulated with high-temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (rated 1,832°F continuous / 2,300°F peak), and overlaid with a high-temperature stainless steel mesh for increased durability and improved thermal resistance.

Construction

Each component is built in-house from mandrel-bent 0.060-inch wall T304L stainless steel tubing with laser-cut brackets and water-jet-cut flanges. Welds are back-purged for proper penetration and maximum durability. 4-inch double-wall stainless steel tips are available in several finishes and feature depth adjustment for precise fitment to match your desired aesthetic.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
