When the valves are opened, the system unleashes an exhilarating flat-six wail as exhaust gases flow freely through a straight-through path and exit through the selected exhaust tips. Development

• SOUL Performance developed a dedicated solution for the Porsche 981 platform by precisely sizing the 2-inch runners and optimized collectors to extract maximum power from the 3.4L engine while still delivering strong gains on the 2.7L. Appropriately sized, high-flow catalytic converters were selected to support maximum power output and long-term durability, avoiding the compromises associated with smaller, lower-quality catalysts. The system was also engineered to deliver a wide, well-balanced sound profile—Cup car inspired and aggressive with the valves open, yet refined and free of drone with the valves closed. SOUL Performance mufflers are designed to virtually eliminate droning, maintaining a composed exhaust character even when paired with aftermarket headers.

Construction

• SOUL Performance precision-engineers its headers from T304L stainless steel, utilizing proven design elements such as port-matched flanges, smooth-radius primary tubing, and optimized collectors to maximize exhaust flow and power gains. Each set is meticulously fabricated and rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping. The systems are constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing and feature mufflers with fortified casings to ensure long-term durability under demanding driving conditions.

Bolt On and Go

• Each SOUL Performance system is constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing with 2.5-inch over-axle piping and fortified muffler casings engineered for long-term durability. With the valves closed, exhaust gases are directed through the SOUL muffler, which is packed with high-quality sound-deadening material designed to withstand sustained use without blowout, resulting in exceptional drone suppression and a refined driving experience. When the valves are opened, exhaust gases are allowed to exit freely through large 2.5-inch piping, while integrated perforations enable interaction with the muffler, producing a fuller, deeper, and more robust exhaust tone that highlights the character of the engine.
