Construction

SOUL Performance designs the over-axle pipe profiles with a full 2.5-inch diameter to provide ample clearance for axles and sway bar end links, even on heavily modified or aggressively lowered vehicles. Recognizing that exhaust-mounted hangers and brackets are prone to failure under racing conditions, SOUL Performance developed a lightweight mounting solution that sheds over five pounds compared to factory mounts while allowing individual components to be easily repaired or replaced in the event of a track incident. The forward piping is secured to a SOUL transmission mounting brace, with dedicated versions for both manual and PDK transmissions, using heavy-duty Mikalor band clamps for a secure and serviceable connection. Additional support is integrated into the over-axle piping through rubber vibration dampeners to reduce stress from flex and vibration across the entire system. Each exhaust is fabricated in-house from mandrel-bent.065-inch wall, 2.5-inch diameter T304L stainless steel tubing, with laser-cut, press-brake-formed brackets that are TIG welded and fully back-purged to ensure maximum durability and long-term reliability under extreme track conditions.
