Does the Titanium Valvetronic Cat-Back fit any C8 Corvette?

It fits the C8 Corvette Z06 from 2023, with the 5.5-liter LT6 flat-plane V8 and the factory center-exit exhaust. It is not designed for the Stingray, E-Ray, or EU-market cars, which use different exhaust hardware. Confirm your car is a US Z06 before ordering the Titanium Valvetronic Cat-Back.

Do I keep the factory drive modes and valve control?

Yes. The plug-and-play Helical valves wire into the car's own exhaust actuators, so every drive mode carries over, including Z-mode, and you set the volume from the factory exhaust settings. There is no separate remote to manage; the system behaves like the OEM valved exhaust, only lighter and louder when open.

Does it drone on the highway?

With the valves closed the system is tuned to be drone-free, close to the quiet of the factory exhaust, so it is comfortable for daily driving and long trips. Open the valves and it builds a deep idle and a high-pitched wail toward redline, but the quiet mode keeps the cabin civil.

Will it throw a check engine light?

No. The system plugs into the factory valve actuators and is engineered to keep the car's electronics satisfied, so Fabspeed guarantees no check engine light. All the hardware needed for that is included, so there is nothing extra to source to keep the dash clean.

Should I get the valved or the non-valved version?

Choose the valved system if you want to control volume and keep the car quiet when you need to; it is about 35 pounds lighter than stock. Fabspeed's non-valved Supersport X-Pipe is lighter still, around 44 pounds under factory, but it is loud all the time. Pick valved for flexibility, non-valved for the lightest, loudest setup.

What tips come with it, and is it a bolt-on?

You choose retain-OEM floating tips or Fabspeed carbon fiber tips at checkout, with the carbon option priced higher. Either way it is a bolt-on install with no cutting or welding, using the factory hangers and the included hardware, though many Z06 owners use a lift and a helper given the titanium weight and valve wiring.

Description

Fabspeed Titanium Valvetronic Cat-Back Exhaust System for C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

The Fabspeed Titanium Valved Cat-Back Exhaust System is the ultimate exhaust solution for the C8 Z06, delivering the same high-pitched scream at 6700rpm that the Supersport X-Pipe exhaust offers, while allowing the driver to adjust the volume using the factory exhaust loudness settings. It is a plug-and-play system that integrates seamlessly with the factory exhaust valve electric actuator modules, retaining all drive modes and Z-mode capabilities. The design process began with 3D scanning the entire OEM exhaust system using the CREAFORM 700 Handscan, allowing for the creation of a detailed Solidworks 3D model to ensure a perfect fit. After extensive sound and dyno testing, the decision was made to incorporate a signature cast Titanium X-Pipe for exhaust scavenging and resonance control. The valves are mounted on CNC-machined plates to withstand heat and maintain electronic functionality in extreme conditions, while the mandrel-bent Titanium piping and ultra-high-temperature heat wrapping help to reduce engine bay temperatures.

Sound

This incredibly versatile exhaust allows the car to shift from a tame cruiser to a thoroughbred race car with the press of a button. When set to the loud exhaust mode (valves open), it delivers a more authoritative rumble at idle, with the signature Ti X-pipe producing a high-pitched wail that some might argue exceeds that of the Ferrari 458. In quiet mode (valves closed), the Z06 is completely drone-free, allowing for easy conversation in the cabin, just like the OEM exhaust.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
